BATFE needs to do something quick! Stop the sale of these pistol grip Assault Lights, PLEASE!!!!

No problem. It will be legal if you leave the plug in that limits the capacity to 3-cells.

D-cells have greater stopping power than C-cells.

Anyone who says otherwise is an ugly stupidhead...and a communist.

Friggin battery snobs. More light has been shined from those little AAA batteries than from any other size. It's all about beem placement. If you can't put the beem where it needs to go then maybe you need to practice more. Nothing stopping you from dry switching at home.

Plus, which are you more likely to carry every day? Some monster running D cells, or a little AAA light? Hell, even those exotic little CR2 (or other varieties of lithium batteries) can be a great call. Sure they're more expensive and a bit harder to find in stores, but they pack a pretty good punch. The important thing is just to make sure you always have your light with you. You can't plan for when you might find yourself in a dark place.

I want to give one to my son to take to school, then dare the School nazi's to send him home

He'll probably be alright as long is it doesn't say "I love Jesus" they'll likely arrest for that.

In the South?!? He's a lot more likely to get away with it if it does say I love Jesus

Lite Grip 15

I can just see it being mistaken for a handgun in the wrong situation.

:(

I'm not buying it. Stupid light doesn't even have a tactical rail. LOL! Thanks needed a laugh.

As we know that one can be shot by the police for holding a water spray 'gun', I'll avoid things that look like guns but aren't.

For what? Clamp a light onto? ;)

The light is optional

I suppose that's true. You could always clamp a vibrator into it...

Just wait, you'll soon hear "It doesn't have any external, manual safeties. It isn't safe. You might shine your arse off with it." As for me, screw safeties. I'm gonna Mexican carry it. Who knows, I may even get a tan.

Does anyone know if you can get a laser grip for these things?

How can I mount a laser sight if I don't have a rail?
