Its simple: The big, high dollar limo services got Metro to fix it, so they can stick it to the little guys. Those with $ make the rules.

In addition the Taxi guys wanted the higher fees, so they could eliminate the limo competition on the lower end...

Understand whats going on just seems, too obvious. Too Bad for the small guy and the customer he serves, I never thought to take a Limo to the airport, but for 20-25 bucks it would be worth it.

When I travel, I always use the Town Car service that most hotels offer. It is usually the same or cheaper than a taxi, and it is always clean!
