Erik,

Have you shot the TulAmmo .223 before? How dirty is it?

It's really not that bad at all. I have not shot anything through my AR other than TulAmmo so I don't know how it compares. For the price though, it can't be beat.

It's been stated that Wolf and TulAmmo are made in the same factory. I can't confirm this is true. I have no problem with either.

This guys claims they are not made by the same company but does not state his source. Either way, for target ammo it works just fine. A case of brass.223 is $100 more than the TulAmmo. I cannot justify that price.

Wolf used to use Tula Works, but not now, some contract rift, seems. Since they it's not Ulyanovsk either, I figger it's Barnaul.

Tula has same notice, in reverse on their US site:

Tula and Wolf has been the filthiest ammo I've ever used, (9mm and .380). Responsible for numerous misfires out of my P238.

Nothing but USA made ammo for me please.

I don't remember any prices, but while buying all of Wally World's wide mouthed mason jars today, I noticed a

very complete selection of ammunition, and quite a few AR's on the rack, 9 or 10 of them 700-900 bucks I think.

Wasn't like that in Clarksville, the other day.

I may move to Camden. Bunch of Democrats there, but they do like their guns. :D

I was able to pick up quite a bit of 9mm today at wallyworld too :)

the ones around me don't carry any firearms, just ammo!

Went looking around a motorcycles and guns today and came upon a recent trade-in at Outpost Armory.

A S&W model 37, .38 revolver for $200.00!! I thought that was too good a deal to pass up.

:)

Holy crap, what a score! You usually can't get a used Charter or Taurus for that, congrats!

This place has the same pricing (24 hours only) on Glock factory magazines and has free shipping (info from slickguns web site). I know nothing about this place, interesting products though. Must be a Glock special to dealers, not sure if all dealers are passing along the deal. Too coincidental for two dealers to have the same special pricing at the same time.

Do a google search on those guys. Some pretty bad reviews.
Yeah, I'd pay the 4.99 and be sure to get them before 2013. Or at all.

Sometimes reviews are earned, but I purchased 2 G19 magazines and the order arrived promptly via the US Postal Service two weeks ago.
One more thing don't believe that 24 hour sale gimmick. This sale has been on at least two weeks. Edited by D3vo

Compared to my local walmart (Federal $12.97 before tax) I thought this was a pretty good deal on brass cased 9mm. I purchased 10 boxes (500 rounds) of Sellier & Bellot FMJ for 11.20 a box shipped.

http://www.sportsman...&cjadv=CJTSGUSA

Use coupon code "SPGGUNS11" for $25 off $185 or SH665 for free shipping no minimum, SH805 for free shipping over $49. Edited by D3vo

For measuring good deals on ammo prices, I use this web site quite often:

http://gun-deals.com/ammo.php?caliber=9mm+Luger

You have to be very conscious about the type of casing, primer, and corrosiveness, and then I look at the cost per round to the 3rd decimal point. I use this information either to buy from the internet or to buy locally. The site is good for other products as well. I think this is the same site that led me to those $289 Glock 22s Gen 2 with 3 mags from a reputable business that I posted last week about on another TGO thread. Here is that one if interested: http://www.gtdist.com/emails/Email-TIGLOCKSNOV2011.html, scroll down, lower right hand corner. New Glocks are subject to LEO, military and retireed (military/Leo) only, however used police guns are available to the general public. I think this place is very reputable.

Then there is this site that I am just learning, appears to be good as well: http://www.slickguns.com/

Both gundeals.com and slickguns.com appear to be updated by users who scour the internet, but I also assume some businesses are users as well. I spend close to 1/2 hour each day following what has been updated, and as time permits look at historical postings to get a feel of what prices have been. This is apart of my continuous stride to keep up with deals, so I can spot one when I find one. Enjoy.

I ordered some 33 round magazines without a hitch earlier this year. Cheapest I found online.
