Membership for team price is free. For Military guys stationed at campbell they are also Smith and wessons Military/LE retailer for the areas. I got my M&P pistol there a while ago for 420 is out the door. Prices are still about the same now as then.

That is an awesome deal right there. I spent $350.00 on just an upper assembly (no BCG/charginghandle) last sept or nov and thought that was a great deal. Considering how the times have changed since then I'd say that this is a steal.

So the weaver/picatinny base shown on the bottom of this is what's called "Micro Mount" and is removable?

 

If so, couldn't you add any standard rail riser to it as shown without swapping out the existing base?

I understand you need the riser to get to a co-witness position, but couldn't it also be used just as shown with the low mount if you didn't have a front sight or whatever? I mean, why is the one shown even on there?
