Hey guys, sorry about not answering, but my computer was on a trip.

The price is the same as others, $600. +tax. Delivery, I don't know. They said "end of the month" but since I ordered it on April 19, I don't know if they meant April or May.

Got it from DT McCalls Furniture in Carthage.

Yeah I picked it up. Put 50 rounds through it. It was absolutely beautiful. I was almost tempted not to put my custom grips on it. Almost. That being said I am keeping the Ruger grips and I'll put 'em on it on occassion. Trigger pull was practically non-existent, dis and reassmbles exactly how you'd expect a 1911 to. Springs seemed a little stiff but that's to be expected. Also it doesn't like my 10 round mag, but that's the only drawback I can find. It was certainly worth the trade and the money spent.

You'll have to excuse me if I wasn't online much yesterbday. Between finishing my finals, getting my new gun, and discovering Bin Laden had his grey matter replaced by a bit of Navy SEAL lead made yesterday a personal holiday for me. And yes, pics are coming.

Finally got to hold one myself yesterday at Outpost Armory. Their price was considerably higher than the ones mentioned above. I want one too, now, but will have to buy elsewhere.

What's the price range on the SR1911 & are any available in the Knoxville area? I keep hearing $600-650 range, give or take a little, but haven't found anyone taking orders or stocking yet. My local gun shop wants $884 out the door + up to a six month wait with payment up front!!!!! :D

This is nothing more than a dealer trying to screw people over. And if you did order and decided to cancel they would figure out a way to keep some of your money.

Dealers are selling them for as low as $580.

PM me the name of the dealer so I can make sure never to deal with them. I understand trying to make what they can but these are the same dealers that were probably gouging during the Obama scare. These are the same dealers who say they never make any money selling guns, probably because they overprice everything so no one will buy from them.

PM sent. Yeah. There's not a chance I'm gonna order it locally. I would like to support local business, but it's becoming impossible to buy locally because of prices and poor service. I'll gladly make the 1 1/2 hour drive to Knoxville.
