For anyone who uses this range. I seen Charlie a couple of days ago and he said it is

now closed on Thursday's and will stay that way. They will use this day for repairs and such. He has not run across the person who runs the website yet to post it.

He does it to work on the property. He is expanding his private range by 3 or 4 positions and building new stands.

Owl Hollow Gun Club is the name of the gun club that operated at the Charlie Haffner Memorial Range (CHMR). Their lease expired and they no longer operate at the range. CHMR is still open and available for use. Here is the website: CHMR

It's closed the 1st FULL weekend of every month, along with Thursdays. Since Saturday was still April, CHMR will be closed next weekend. Hope to see you there sometime.

Early! I typically get there at 9:00.

Or late? During the week it's pretty empty by around 5:00 or 5:30. Does it empty out then on the weekends too?

+1. You can even get a "head start" by getting there a little before 9:00 to set up your targets, unpack your stuff, etc. There are usually several folks waiting for the 9:00 time to send rounds down range.
