I know there are LEOs and Military folks on here, would you go door to door collecting our guns if instructed?

Would you be insubordinate?

Um, no, as I'd either be holed-up or dead from the shootout that followed them trying to get mine.

Can't be two places at once, y'know? ;)

No, thank you, I'm an American, and I don't violate the Constitution.

In the enlistment oath it states " I swear(affirm) that I will defend the Constitution of

the United States against all enemy's foreign or domestic..." .

This answers the question for me.

Would you help round up guns? NO!

Long as there's bullets, you'd get those first.

Lock, Rock and Roll!

Gun round up? "No sir, I do not own any guns....I sold them all....no guns here" Anyone worried about any potential confiscation programs feel free to allow me to take any unwanted firearms off your hands...they will get a good home, plenty of exercise, and lots of love. I promise. Er...that is of course if I did own any firearms

I'm not LEO or active military but I would volunteer. Of course with 80 million gun owners it might take a while and lots of trips to the range in between.

Not me cause they would get what they deserve. I'm not LE, I kow for a fact my local sheriff is PRO gun, and so is the chief of police, so while I'm not worried about them "giving" the order I'm sure someone along the way would try it. They would be ou tof luck here since if they show up a say maybe 2 or 3, I'd tell them I sold off my meager collection to pay bills with, and if they showed up with the intention of breaking down my door to check, then my guns would reappear, loaded I'd have to go down fighting. I'd rather die free than live with the fact I could no longer protect my family.

For anyone that says yes to that question, regardless of LE or MIL status, what part of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights would you keep if any?

If it's time to bury your guns, it's time to dig them up.

I believe the answer would be not no but HECK no and if you come knocking on my door (even with a breaching tool) I expect you to bring those rubber bags to put some folks in...bring more than 2.

My military oath would not allow me to enter in to such an endeavor. Taking mine is not going to be an easy assignment for some poor fools.

I can see it now... the door opens just a crack.. "what do ya want?"

officer : "sir we've come to inspect your house and ask if you have any firearms...they've been banned and we're here to collect them".

the door closes for a moment, then opens to a wider crack and a long barrel pokes the officer in the nose.

"surely you don't mean something like THIS!" something with a hair trigger when the hammer is cocked back? 'click'...no..we don't have anything like that around here....anything else we can help you with?"

ATF officer "umm no..no you've been more than helpful! thank you!....have a nice day!"
