This is a new prototype Mr. Kelly developed for his tactical line. This is the first in a series to be known as the Sentinels. It is differentially heat treated 1095 and produces a gorgeous hamon (not really visible in the photos). Later mdels will wear S30V blades. Through sheer luck I was able to acquire for almost nothing. If you have never heard of or handled an S.K knife I HIGHLY recommend doing so. He is an amazing bladesmith and is honest as can be. He is extremely affordable for what you get and will work with anyone as far as payments and design go. His work can be seen at www.skknives.com

It does look alot like a Busse. But, I guess that's a good thing. I was talking with Mr. Kelly and he said he was just finishing up 5 of these Sentinel models to be sent off for testing in hopes of acquiring a D.O.D contract. It would be pretty cool if these got NSN #'s or if they were selected for use by an elite unit. I am torn between whether I want to use this or not. It is the first one ever of a new series. I still can't believe he sold it to me. I'll say this after handling it, these things are built like tanks. Also, this textured 3-D G-10 handle is awesome.
