Johnsonville TVA plant to close.

It was announced today that the Johnsonville TVA plant will be closed.

Does this affect anyone here?

I live near the Cumberland TVA plant and know a lot of people who work there.

Yea its going to affect everyone when the rates go up to pay for all the stuff required to make a nuclear plant.... esp new regs that come out of the japan crisis...

I strongly suspect this is going to hurt everyone, long term, unless you are a nuclear physicist.

And they converted it to a dual fuel plant a few

years ago. That's too bad.

Did they say when they are gong to take it offline? I bet it will just be mothballed and not completely closed.
