Ok I think this is crazy. A Chinese national started a fake US military unit and was charging other Chinese to join and gain rank. He outfitted them, trained them and sent them to the USS Midway (decommisioned museum now) for some reason. CRAZY! Of course it was in California.

He called it the U.S. Army/Military Special Forces Reserve unit, or MSFR

So does he go to a civilian court or does he get court martialed?

Just Civilian Court, but I believe they could throw the book a bit harder at him, could add 100 counts of fraud, 100 counts of forgery for the fake ID's he handed out. Could probably add a few more as well

Yeah I'd love to know more. Googled it but the same article comes up.

I wonder if and how much they trained and if so did they use weapons?

So many more questions.

He can't be court martialed him because he gave himself the title of 'Supreme Commander' so he out titles anyone else, even the president as 'Commander in Chief' doesn't come close.
