Haven't had any experience with the 99c, but did have the 99, in 9mm. One of the best guns I ever owned. Traded it for a Glock 22. Wish I had kept it. Can't go wrong with

it IMHO.

Have one of the first run P99's imported by interarms not the c model. Its a nice pistol, the trigger leaves a little to be desired but the grip is one of the best i've felt. I belive they changed the trigger in the newer ones not sure though. $450 is a good price they were alot more than that.

$450 is a steal for that pistol, P99cQA is the first small pistol i bought and it is a great and accurate pistol. As said before the trigger needs abit getting used to for QA, the SA trigger is really nice IMO, but once you get used to it, you'd love the QA trigger. I have a P99cQA in 9mm and P99QA in 40SW and love both of them.
