The ones I have for my XD will hold 35+1. I haven't had time to kill anyone with them yet.

Haha yeah we better get started on that killing, apparently that's the only logical reason for having any magazine that holds more then 10 rounds right?

I'll admit I thought the Assault clip thing was so stupid I didn't watch the video thing until just now.

Cheese and biscuits that was terrible. Plus, whom ever designed the pigtail target has an odd interpretation of child anatomy. A kid with a head that big couldn't possibly stand. So you wouldn't really need an assault clip, a single shot would be fine cause you've got all day to aim.

But hey, I am all for it. Ban every assault clip. But leave the magazines alone, cause they aren't "assault" magazines after all. And def leave the "spring loaded bullet holder thingy" alone because sometimes people buy those from Gander mountain.

Even if the video didn't show the guy flinching, it would be shot at an angle to show his bullets punching through the paper. The fact that it wasn't tells you that they more then likely filmed someone emptying the magazine, and then put the paper right in front of him and drew little Xs where they wanted the bullet holes. Plus you have to take into account that nobody trained with a firearm, or involved in the world of firearms at all is gonna do anything for this campaign, which means their shooter just does not know what he is doing, and there's no way he got that luck with the groupings.

The pigtail target looked like the profile of "Little Tiffany" from the training scene in MIB where Will Smith dispatches the girl holding the physics books with a headshot. So lame that words can't even describe. It begs the question: are they serious?! Even my 5-year-old daughter would call Bravo Sierra on this mess...

ehhhh, don't be so sure. I've known cops who are devout anti gun, firm believers that only LEO and military should have access to a weapon.

1. Go ahead and ban the assault clips, I'll keep my hi-cap magazines.

2. I guarantee the guy shooting those rounds did not put those holes in the paper.

Tell them they can limit the capacity of "clips" to 10 rounds. Is there any "clip" out there that will hold more than 10 rounds? Garand clip 8, old bolt action guns 5, SKS clips will hold 10 and that's the largest capacity "clip" i've seen.

This video shows that shooting with a limited capacity mag with a mag change isn't much slower than using a higher capacity mag:

Assault clips should not be confused with high capacity magazines. Magazines are feeding devices for firearms. An Assault clip is a short video like the one Brady produced. Think of it as a 30 second Assault Clip. For 30 seconds common sense, reason and decency were assaulted by this Assault Video Clip. I believe that you could also call it an Insult clip.

Assault Video Clips (AVC's) like this one should be banned now. They are nothing more than training films for mass murderers who could be pushed over the edge by those little girl targets. Stop facilitating mass murder. Ban the Assault Video Clips.

Do it now!!

I think that there are AK74 clips that hold 15rds. I'll have to look in my box and see. M16, M1 Carbine, and Mauser Broomhandle clips all hold 10rds. Those are the biggest I know about besides the SKS/AK clips you mentioned.

If I didn't believe in Free Speech, I'd have to agree that Assault Video Clips like this one are harmful and could cause unbalanced liberals to target little girls in pigtails.

Using there logic 33 round clips are only used for killing lots of people, then a 10 round clip can only be use for killing a few people. I guess they are ok with that.

I'm pretty sure assault clips are clipped on bags of chips at the house to keep them fresh. Have you ever clipped those on your nose....... they can really hurt someone.

32 in 16 seconds? You can go faster than that.... They could at least get it right.

I'm surprised they could find anybody smart enough to operate the firearm at all... I thought it was a requirement to work at the Brady campaign to turn in your stones at the door :D

I have to keep my 32 round mag for my Ruger P89 locked up due to the violent nature of the damn thing. It will get up and slap a full grown man with no thought. Banning those things is the only option. I am tired of the assault.
