Have any of yall been to a police auction? McNairy Co Sheriff's office just had a large auction of confiscated weapons. I wish Memphis and Shelby County would have one.

That's pretty rare from what I read here which seems to be that most PDs sell/bid out all their guns to FFLs only.

Sad, that just lets the FFL jack up the price. McNairy had around 200 guns laid out for sale. The highest one went for 600, i think.

So they were all sold without 4473 then?

I don't know. I would imagine they did 4473 forms. I was unaware of the auction until it was over. I just saw the write up in the paper and talked to a guy who went.

My statement about the FFL is about them going to a gun shop for sell. These guns were sold directly from the dept.
