Just bought a box to replace the last 9rds of Hydra-shok I have been carrying for 9 years.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this ammo. They look like golden sabers but twisted. I will try to shoot a few of them this week.

Appears to be re-labeled golden sabers...just not bonded probably....should work just fine...looks like they give you an extra 5 rounds now. I have been using the Winchester PDX1 and have been quite happy with that line....not the most powerful or destructive 45 available but they are very accurate and well put together. You need to at least run a box or so through your gun to make sure it will function with them though.....also for actual home defense I would probably recommend not using 9yr old ammo cause while it should still be good....isnt your family worth the extra $20 to be absolutely sure?

I have never had any feeding problems before but I am definitely going to shoot some of them.

I totally agree with the family being worth more than $20 , I just hadn't bought any more of those Hydra-shoks,. I do have two back up magazines of ranger sxt as well and they aren't very old.

I am gonna light up my old Hydra-shoks on some water jugs or some watermelons.

The 5 extra rds is nice too.

Finally got to shoot some of the new bullets. They are great. Good power, good accuracy and from the reviews I have read they are pretty good expanders. I like em. I went and bought another box of 25 . They are my new carry ammo. Now I just need to find something cool to shoot with my old Hydra-shok s.

I'm issued the Golden Saber Bonded ammo. Works well.
