Harrison Bay State Park

I spend a lot of time at the park since I only live 4 minutes from there. Today i was taking my Great Dane and Boxer out to the park for a walk. I had stopped to get the dogs leashed up and a man walked over to my truck and saw my gun and told me it was against the law to carry in a state park. I informed him of the law change and that the park had not removed the no guns sign at the entrance. He wanted to argue with a MWAG, 120 lb. Great Dane and a 65 lb. Boxer. "go figure". I assume he is just stupid. I decided to leave rather than cause a scene which could have ended badly (for him) and stopped by the ranger station to tell the rangers what happened. I know all the rangers and even fish with one of them. My friend was on duty and told me that he was headed that way because the guy had phoned it in. He said, "Just for grins and giggles, let me see your HCP." He said he didn't know I had a HCP and said we need to go shoot sometime. He told me that the rangers like for folks to concealed carry because they get flooded with calls "from cry babies". He said, "now I got to go tell this idiot to mind his own business."

It's a shame the boxer didn't go sniff and head butt him in the groin. I'm sure the Great Dane would have to bend down to do this.

Hey, I was camped in Area B, saw you drive by with the dogs. My grandson was tickled to see that Great Dane in the back seat.

Planning on camping this weekend. As uaual, they go where I go.
