If any of you guys are thinking about coming up to the machine gun shoot this weekend, I was at the range today and the parking lots were fine. The upper ones are mostly dry. The lower ones looked ok but I didn't drive down there. I think they have a 30% chance of rain for both Friday and Sat, with highs in the upper 70's. Looks like it's going to be a good shoot.

I did score a Aimpoint M2 today with a ARMS mount for $150. Which I thought was a good buy.

Thanks for the update on the weather. Me and a buddy are heading up Saturday and were discussing the weather yesterday and debating if we need to hire a serpa for the parking lot this year to guide us through. LOL

Have been looking forward to this for months.

Are you looking for a gun or parts?

Most of the M11's that I've seen are north of $3k. Most are $3500.

There are quite a few new uppers for them though. Saw the .22 conversions and the drum uppers.

Thanks for the heads up Jason. I am looking for a M11 but did not find one up there. So the hunt continues. I have found a couple in TN that look like good deals just need to break down and commit.

Over all had a great time yesterday even when it got dark between 9 & 10 yesterday morning.

I was there...as usual the lower "pasture" was a mud bog...but still a hell of a lot of fun to negotiate. What is October like? Both times I've gone in April...is it any dryer in October?...I'm already planning
