slide-fire ar15 (bumpfire stock) ???

Curious if anyone has or has tried or even seen the slide-fire stock that appears to be almost fully auto. http://www.slidefiresolutions.com/index.html. i know atf sortof approved an i know they can change that at anytime so i dont care to hear about what THEY may do. Unless you know for sure w inside info. Or if anyone near has one to try or for sale that'd be nice too. Thanks for any info!

Why do people insist on encouraging this junk? Hellfire triggers, bump firing, gatling trigger, now this. *sigh*

Instead of wasting ammo dumping it on the ground with poor accuracy, actually hitting the target with every shot makes a lot more sense. I guess I'm a loser cause I just don't get the fascination with pseudo-full tilt boogie attachments.

with practice,and a decent trigger job you can shoot that fast and accurately, with a standard AR

look up some 3 gun matches,..

now those guys are impressive....

Interesting. Same exact thing as the Akins Accelerator designed for the Ruger 10/22. The ATF approved that one, too. Then turned around and declared it a machinegun.

At $369 for a plastic stock, I think I'll pass. At least until the ATF has a little more time to change their mind. Although, it would be nice to have an AR capable of suppressive fire.

Sometimes you may not be shootin a target for accuracy but for fun. May just fire off into a bank (dirt bank!) somewhere. And i can shoot pretty fast, i'm no 3gun pro but still.

Should have knew better than to ask here but i was looking for physical reviews not hypothetical or opinions wether there is a need for it. That is for me an my pocketbook to decide.

I was thinking about getting one but it bugs me that the company started out selling them $200 and sold out so they bumped it to $300 sold a ton more. So now they are $350+ so I just don't know anymore. I have not been able to find one in person to look over or find anyone that has one to try.

Well an M16 receiver probably only cost about $15 to make. They go for about $10K to $12K and require a tax stamp. I can see the attraction in the stock. If someone wants to experience an AR full auto, they have to rent a gun somewhere, have friends with expansive toys, drop $12k on an M16, or get one of these stocks. They’re getting a lot of flak from the guys with full autos, but so what. I know a guy with a Harley. He says it doesn’t matter what you ride, it’s that you ride. In the next breath he will tell you if you’re not on a Harley you can’t ride with him. No matter what you’re into there’s always a party pooper.
