I'm getting out of 8mm. It's not been an easy decision, but it's been made. I have one rifle left that I can't just sell to anyone. It's not dangerous, it's not illegal. Here's the deal.

I got an FR-8 a while back that the barrel had been just a turd. The gun has since been rebarreled back to the receiver's original caliber of 8mm. It was easy, just found a really nice K98 barrel, turned it to the exact same profile as the 308 barrel and put it back exactly the way it was. You can't tell the difference in it and an original FR-8 in 7,62x51NATO. Therein lies the problem. I need to move the gun, but I can't just let John Q Public get their hands on it, for fear some dummy will stick a 308 in it. The receiver NEEDS to be stamped, but I didn't for two reasons. Someone could put it back to 7,62 if they wanted, and I don't have a decent stamp set anyway.

If there's any SERIOUS 8mm Mauser fans around middle TN, give me PM and lets talk.

Serious suggestions on the matter are welcome too.
