Sign at Radnor Lake says no guns even CCP holders.

That isn't correct... Radnor Lake is a state park, not a city park, all state parks are fine to carry in.... Per state law they can not legally be posted. But, the law allowed them to leave the old signs in place.

This is the same state park that a certain unnamed person performed the orange tipped ak47 pistol stunt back a couple of years ago, and was not charged with carrying.

I agree with jayc. The law allowed state parks to leave the signs up only so we wouldnt be paying to replace so many signs in the state park. Besides that i dont think i have ever seen one that was a current style sign.

I would like to see a picture of the sign.

but I agree they are not required to remove the signs. However the even CCP holders part makes it misleading to those that don't know the law.

I wonder if the sign are referring to is a sign of multiple rules that includes firearms or if it is just a no firearms type sign. My opinion is if a sign is only dealing with firearms it should be removed, however if it is multiple rules, then it should be replaced as needed as the law requires making sure the NEW sign does not contain anything about no firearms.

You can not fish there at all. At least not legally. Growing up a few buddies and I used to sneak in there at night and fish. The Rangers would get pissed and chase us off but never caught us.

Radnor Lake is a Wildlife Preserve and Natural Area. In other places this still allows fishing, but in Radnor lake it does not. Often you will notice if the waterway is entirely contained in the Preserve, it is off limits and if it extends outside the Natural area it is not. That is not a rule, but it seems to hold true.

My understanding is that when Radnor Lake was taken into the state park system it was considered a "natural area " to be preserved for all to enjoy. I think there are a few others scattered around the state call "parks" Now they name these areas state natural areas.
