I'm pretty sure AG says that when school is using a municipal park for a function, park becomes off limits for carry, even if city has not opted out. Hopefully FallGuy can chime in and confirm that.

In other words, if your city parks are not posted you can carry -- except when school is using it.

Whether the park is a city park or school property, I couldn't say. Obviously if it's school property, you can never carry there period.

It is my understanding that the ball feild is part of the School property, and not part of the park. Therefore it falls under the law acording to schools.

After a talk with others, the ball feild is School property, and therefore falls under the law acording to schools. The park is city property and open for carry. I have talked with the Mayor here in Tullahoma and he is very pro gun.

The football field and football practice field is school property. The baseball field is part of a city park... as is the greenway (except where it crosses into the school parking lot). I once tried to get a definite answer about the band and soccer practice fields. My best guess is that they are part of the park as well, but don't bet your legal position on that.
