My ultimate rifle thus far.

I have been eyeing GA Precision rifles since I got into shooting and I just could not justify spending the cash. Well, I have come to the conclusion that justifying the spending of toys, it just does not happen so I wnt for it.

I was at Franklin gun about a year ago or mnaybe less and spotted my dream rifle. I had to pass due to price but everuy time I was in there it kept wearing on me. I have constanly changed rifles around to make them better shooters and very comfy to shoot. Well i had a couple Remingtom 700 SA and they were set up, and they could shoot very well but the constant need for more power was out there. I got my .308 to the point where the recoil was pretty darn light. I could shoot a ragged hole all day long with the rifle.

What was the next thing I did, I sold it off to upgrade to the GA precision you will see here.

1:11 twist fluted 25" barrel w/ .30 Caliber SPR Brake set up for an OPS INC Model 12 suppressor.

The action is a trued Remington 700 LA 300 win mag. The scope rail is a Badger rail with 0 MOA. The bolt was replaced with an oversized Badger knob. The trigger seems to be a stock old style remington trigger with the wide ridged trigger set to aprox 1lb... sweet... The whole barreled action was duracoated in olive green. This is by far one of the smoothest actions I have ever cycled!

The barreled action sits in an 2.0 folding AICS LA Olive green stock. The stock has a

CADEX Accuracy International Fore-end Rail and is supported by an Atlas bipod.

I have placed a set of Badger USMC M40A1 30mm scope rings holding the US Optics ST10 in place. I am gonna be in the market for a little higher ring for more comfort.

Well here she is:

The folding stock is nice , you do not have to remoce the cheek piece to remove the bolt. That being said, I am pretty sre the same applies to the SA stock.

nice looking piece. But what if the optics ever fail? Do you have iron sights for it? Murphy has a way of showing up sometimes

I'm super jelly. Though I guess I don't have any special reasons for that considering I don't even have a place I could shoot it. Stupid Memphis not having any outdoor ranges other than MSSA.

Its a 300 win mag.. 338 Lapua is to high! If I wanted to spend $7-$10 a shot I would have to go with he 50 BMG... LOL

Price... you are not the first to say it...LOL
