TN bussiness friendly??

Is TN business friendly in your opinion?

I feel the permits/fees/licensing cost and general policies are very burdensome and the fact that we don't have income tax doesn't make up for the high cost to do business here.

Sorry for the grip but I had to get it out. My wife doesn't want to here it.

One day in the Clerk's office in Clarksville, I asked the caged lady why the charge was

so high on what I was getting. Her answer "Because we can." I thought she a bit bold.

A state income tax is an important issue to many people. If governments only performed necessary functions, they wouldn't need to tax as much.

No wonder Small business is on the decline. Think I'll just be a door greeter at Walmart.
