LSAT and law school

Do we have any lawyers or anybody that took the LSAT on here? I took it on February 10th and the scores are supposed to come today. This is the most painful wait of my life.....

For anybody that is unfamiliar with it, the LSAT is the admissions test for law school.

I had a room-mate many years ago who took it... he nearly drove me nuts during that period of time.

He just passed the bar a few months ago... It was worth it. We're still good friends.

Since he hasn't gotten back to us, I am assuming he is at the pub (not to be mistaken with the Bar) celebrating. Remember though, Ted Kennedy never could pass a bar and his car has killed more people than my gun!!!!!

Not as well as I wanted. My score was 10 points lower than my best practice score and about 7 off from my average. So I'm gonna re-take in it June.

I'm beyond angry but I'm gonna get my mind off the test and law school in general for a few weeks and then come back strong.

Salb3039, very best of luck next time. Man, don't let it throw you. Just take that energy you would put into anger, transfer it into study, perhaps with some kind of preparatory course, and keep at it. Hope to hear good things from you for your future in time to come.

From my experience with certification exams, if you are constantly scoring in the high 90's on the practice tests, it is time to take the real test and you will probably end up with around a 75 or 80. The reason is test anxiety.
