From what we've been told by the CO and XO after they interviewed who we're replacing, there is some intermittent internet service, so I may be able to get on once in a while, or upload a picture or two to facebook when allowed while I'm over.

Does anyone know of a good, basic (and preferably slim profile, rather than a thick one) watch with tritium inserts? Most of what I can find are rather unreasonably priced due to brand. I just ordered a basic UZI patrol watch with glow inserts, but I have enough that I should be able to get another watch no problem. I just didn't see a reason to order a $500 watch that I was going to abuse.

I still have my G shock watch from 2003. I do not wear a watch here but I will take it over with me. It has a push button glow. Not expensive and takes a beating plus water proof to any depth I am going and coming back out of anyway.
