MTAC question

Is the 26 shell the same as the 19? Or do I need a separate 26 shell? I know they sell them separately but they are basically the same dimensions (except length of barrel). Thanks.

The half-body made just for the 26/27/28/33 is shorter than one made just for the 19/23/32. If you are currently set up for the 19, a 26 should ride just fine though.

If you are about to buy one and plan to carry both, you could get the 9/40/357 Slide shell. It is open to allow the longer guns to "slide" out of the bottom.

Great holster BTW.

The "Slide" version can cause hang up issues on the full size guns when you reholster IWB because you might be trying to push against the fabric of your pants. If you get the 19 shell, the 26 will ride just fine.

Personal experience on both points.
