My AR Build and Shotgun

Hi Everyone, Im new to the forum and i wanted to show off my NFA Mossy 590 and my built at home Colt/Spikes M4.

The M4 is running the following:

-Spikes Tactical Zombie Lower with RRA parts kit, Troy Trigger Guard, Tangodown Pistol Grip and Mil Spec Buffer w/ Magpul ACS

-The Colt Flattop Upper has M4 feedramps, a Colt 14.5" Gov't Profile barrel with a 1/7" twist and a perm attached Troy Medevil Flash Suppressor

The Carbine is also running a Troy Industries 13" Free Float Handguard with Magpul AFG and front sight, Trijicon TA31RCO w/ Doctors Red Dot, Surefire M600 Scoutlight and a Insight AN/PEQ-2A Illuminator

The Mossberg 590A1 has a 14.5" Barrel, a EOTech 512, Messa Tactical Buttstock Adapter with Magpul CTR and a side saddle.

Between the 2 is a BE Meyers Green Laser and LaRue Mnt.

Very nice. Do you really enjoy the angled foregrip on the AR? I eventually just ditched mine, never could get to the point of enjoying using it. I usually end up gripping the front of the mag well or putting a standard vert grip on. It's literally the only Magpul product that I couldn't adapt to/enjoy.

I got the AFG last April while i was in Afghanistan......and on a standard issued M4 with Carbine length rail system. I really couldn't get down b/c of lack of rail space, but now with the 13" rail, i have it sitting under and in front of where the front sight post would be. With a lil practicing it really works out for me and i've noticed i have quicker follow up shots and more control of the rifle with it.
