Legal gun question

As many of you know my dad passed from this life Dec 21st, now come the time when the vultures desend. Sorry. When my grand dad and grand mom passed the family (their children) acted like a bunch of asses.

Well I told everyone I want nothing but apparently my dad had other plans, My brother and I are to split his firearm collection, can't be much, but that is the decision that was made.

They are in NC, and I'm here in TN. Is it true that I can go get these firearms since they are an inheritance without going through a FFL?

Seems like a lot of expense if I have to have them shipped sense I have to be going to pick up some alarm equipment from my brother anyway.

Go get your guns. No need to "transfer" anything inherited. Hope everything goes smooth for you. I hate seeing what people become when "free stuff" or "free money" is around. Pretty much everyone in my family knows I don't want my name anywhere near their will. It's not worth it.

Tell me about it. Mom gave me her house as long as I allowed my dad to stay init as long as he lived (I told her I didn't want it), welll she out lived him and has decided to sell it and move back to FL where there is family left.
