mine is uncontested...and we have already split everything including the kid...it's just a matter of record now

In that case, feel free to more or less carry on. Uncontested divorces can be a [relatively] beautiful thing. But I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone get screwed with respect to custody, alimony, etc. because they thought they were free to start dating once they were separated. It's especially hard to deny that you're having extra-marital affairs when you show up for your court hearings with your girlfriend.

Just a suggestion, but keep in mind that an amicable divorce can still turn not-so-amicable anytime right up until it is final. Until the divorce decree is heard by the court and signed off by the judge, YOU ARE NOT DIVORCED. Don't ask me how I know... :D

I move out next week myself. Probably won't file until later due to money, but BRR gives good advice. Live your life, but be careful of what you post on any social sites and who you tell.

I feel really special....several women that I have known for a long time have asked me out since me and the wife have seperated....I didn't know i had so many fans! I would have never thought that....not bragging just really dumbfounded!

Congratulations to you both.

 I dunno what kinda dog you have that's high maintenance than a woman. I have a 85lb pit. He roams the fenced yard, eats about $30 a month in food, requires about 30 minutes a week with a rake and a shovel and his only demand is for the bones out of the crock pot. In return he scares the bejesus out of everyone who comes near the place.

That's cheaper than a movie and a trip Logan's by God!

Yeah, but I'll bet the sex isn't near as good. :) I don't mind buying dinner. Girls don't leave turds everywhere, chew on furniture, or bark all night. And, when they bite, they rarely draw blood.
