Any Ruger Mark III smith's in the house?

So I put these Volquartzen fancy grips on my Mark III. It came with a new bolt stop thumb piece (part 43). I had a hard time getting the mag safety and the sear back in correctly.

Now the pistol operates fine but the trigger will not reset after each shot. You can reset the trigger with your finger or rack the slide about 1/4" and the trigger will reset.

Could it be the trigger pivot retainer (part 30)?

Is there anywhere I could get some free help? It ain't rocket science but I ain't no scientist.

Bless you graycrait! I have broken this pistol down and put it back together so many times now that I can do in just a few seconds. This pistol is more complexed than a 1911 but it's getting easier. I payed way too much for this pistol and the Valquartsen sights were $150, the red dot was $80. Now it's my project pistol. Thanks for the web link.

Will Carry, I wish you were closer because the Ruger MK series is one of my favorites to work on. I put components in these guns for my friends on occasion. And I really enjoy seeing the MK series with good triggers. I don't know why Ruger just doesn't put a nice trigger on them. I realize price point and economies of scale, but this series of guns deserves a good trigger as they are a really good shooter.

Will Carry, here is my latest MKIII 22/45. It ain't pretty but it is a shooter. See lower right hand gun. I sold the other two Rugers to friends.
