Prayers Needed!

My GP for years was also a heart specialist. He used to tell his heart patients that if they followed his instructions they would probably die of old age. If they didn't, they'd be dead within five years.

Thats what I keep telling my Dad. Follow the doctors instructions very closely. Do exactly as he says. He gets paid the money he makes to know those kind of things. I feel like he will do his best to do what the doc said do!

I feel like, if he will keep doing as he is told by the doctors, he will be ok! I have always heard that prayer changes things, and I really believe it has worked/is working for my Dad!

Update! My dad is back in the Emergency room as we speak. My mom called me today and told me that he was bleeding from his kidneys and...well...places unknown(trying not to get too detailed)! At first, the doctors thought it was the blood thinner they had him on, but now they think its something more! My mom also told me a few more things HE(my dad) didnt want anybody else knowing! I found out that , last Sunday, he fell! Just out of the blue one morning! He also stays nauseas, and "swimmy headed", as he calls it! He is losing weight very rapidly, and doesnt seem to have an appetite much. He never has any energy ( and he has worked hard for over 50 years). And the no energy just isnt my dad!

So again, I ask for more prayers, please! I love my Dad more than anything and to lose him would be like removing my heart from my body! We are and always have been close!

I would give anything to be able to spend more time with him, but I cant, financially! I work 2 jobs, and 7 days a week! And my financial situation wont let me take time off of work! So all I can do at this point is pray and hope that he will be OK!

Im not a very religious person, as far as going to church and what-not, but I was raised to believe in God, and to fear him all the same! I know I cant stop what is going to happen! But if it were possible, I would take his pain and suffering!

So to sum it up guys, please pray for him EVERY chance you get! I will GAURANTEE you that one day, he will thank you for it!

Just an update! My dad is doing much better these days. He still doesn't have alot energy, but does feel alot better. He finally got his appetite back and seems to be taking better care of himself. He is on about 25-30 different medications for his medical problems, and has to take that many once, sometimes twice, a day. But besides that, seems to be feeling alot better.

Prayer changes things! So thanks for all the prayers and cards from everyone. He really appreciated it!
