We were out shooting today and I thought I would try one in my mossberg mattress gun.

I can understand doing this, but not why you let someone record it, lol. You had to know going in that it was going to be an ouch moment. I once pulled both triggers on my coach gun (at the same time) with 3 inch mags in it, but that was before the internet and a video camera would have used tape, so I was safe from anyone seeing it... (it was fairly painful, by the way, as in it took some few weeks for that bruise to clear up).

Self-deprecating humor is of the highest caliber. Or gauge, in this case.

Thanks :)

No, since my finger was well away from the trigger, its a pump shotgun, and I only had one round in the gun for the purpose of shooting this clip. Oh wait, thats magazine right???

:D

I heard they sucked. We both shot one before that. I was the only one dumb enough to do it twice. My hand is paying for it now though.

Seriously, though, you need to lock left elbow onto waist and have rigid left arm rather than let right hand/arm take all the brunt. If not locked into waist, left arm at least needs to be pushed out rigidly locked all the way back to shoulder.

No sense having a shotgun/technique that would take long recovery before getting second shot off. No way to clear that room full of baddies before you're toast. :)
