I have a clip draw on my Glock 27, does anybody know if I can just remove the clip by taking the screws out and keep the clip draw plate on the gun incase i want to put it back on ? Thanks RPW

I do not see why not. Most such devices are made that way, however look closely. I had a gun that came with a clip and the screws for the clip were actually replacing pins in the frame, removal of the clip made these loose which caused no end of problems. I think my situation is probably unusual though, most of them that I have seen were removable.

YMMV, but to me it would be much quicker to swap slide cover plates back and forth than to remove and replace screws.

You should be fine. Typically the plate that the clip screws in to is mounted with some sort of tape-like substance. If you remove the clip, that plate should remain in place.

The instructions for the universal model that uses tape say to leave the plate on with clip out, if you wanted to use a holster for a while.

I have a clipdraw on my Kahr .380, and I remove the small allen screws and take the clip off any time I want to use a holster - works great, and I'm still using the first of my 3-4 glue strips that came with the Clipdraw.
