If you purchase the shotgun at an FFL, then that is ok. You just cannot purchase from an individual.

Correct. I was just answering that it is legal to purchase from an FFL, not from an individual.

I was planning on going to the Sportsmans Warehouse in Southaven to pick up a 870 in the morning, but the fees will eat up the discount on the gun.

There are no extra fees.

If the FFL is willing to sell to you, it's same as if you were a MS resident.

He simply has to do 4473 like any FFL in the US does.

Matter of fact, it should be $10 cheaper, since there's no TN TICS tax.

+1. You can legally purchase a rifle or shotgun at an FFL's premises in any state and take it home with you.
