Hunting with .22-250

Recommended Posts

WD, I try to get up to Crossville and Sevierville a couple times a year to Hog hunt - close to halfway between us, i think). Let me know if you ever want to make that trip, and I'll bring along 2 .22-250's to bust some crows one day, and we'll try out on hogs the next.

Why not make a long, miserable trip to have some fun? LOL!

WD, I lived in Clarksville for about 15 years and hunting groundhogs was my passion. My 22-250 was my favorite gun. My load was a case full of IMR4350 under a 55gr. Sierra bullet. Coyotes have decimated the groundhogs in the areas I used to hunt though. When I say a case full I meant it. It was a compressed load. BTW were you reared in Clarksville?

I have been in Clarksville since 1980 by virtue of the US Army. I am originaly from Northern Alabama. When I got out of the Army in 1987, we chose Clarksville as our home. Been living here ever since.
