So I got me a work from home job finally. Right now I am going part time for the training. As of march 18, 2011 I will be working 8-5 M-F. I am doing quality assurance call monitoring on technical calls for Time Warner Cable. I am enjoying it thus far. Now to save my money and get my PT1911 hard chromed and more wilson combat parts installed on it.

That is Great.

Now that sounds like a good job, kinda like what I would like. If things turn out bad this summer, I might need a hook up.

They predominately only hire people with disabilities. I have a severe hearing impairment.

Got a link to a website or something? I have nerve damage in my lower back resulting from an On the Job Injury (OJI). Eventually Workers' Comp is going to settle and stop paying me regularly. This sounds like its worth looking into.

You have to get a link to fill out an app from your voc rehab counselor.

Okie Dokie. Thanks. I'm sure I will have a Vocational Rehab Counselor at some point. I just don't have one yet. Thanks though.

Would someone with a chronic autoimmune disease qualify?

I would suppose so.

I mean I can give you the website to the company where I am working but you cant apply on there. For some reason they want you to get the link to apply from vocational rehab counselors. I guess to verify that you actually do have a disability.

VIRTUAL POSITIONS:

For all of our work at home positions, we recruit solely through Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (VRCs) throughout the United States. Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors assist J.Lodge in pre-screening applicants. The online application is a private link, available through your VRC ONLY.

If you wish to apply for one of our work at home positions, please notify your Counselor. If you are not currently working with a VRC, check with your state agency to locate a Vocational Rehabilitation Center in your area.

A NOTE TO VOCATIONAL COUNSELORS:

If you have not worked with J.Lodge but are interested in providing work-at-home opportunities for your clients.

Thanks for the link. My son has Type 1 diabetes, but he does not have a college education. I thought it might be a good opportunity for him. Oh, well.

Good luck with it!

My wife works from home. She says it gets awfully lonely after a while. I think I could handle that. Some people need to be around others. She's one of those. It sure saves on gas, however.

Yeah things are lookin up for the new year. If any of yall have disabilities get a voc rehab counselor and come work for this company. It is really cool thus far. Granted it dont pay close to 20.00 an hour like ive been used to makin but by the time I factor in gas costs in my lincoln I am coming out pretty good as there is about 300 dollars a month in gas I dont have to spend.

Well, I am kinda slow, maybe I can qualify. Anyways, still glad you got it.

I am not sure man, check with the voc rehab lady in your area. The people at the career center can help you get in touch with the voc rehab person in your area.

Glad you got the gig, tnxdshooter.

I've worked at home many years and it is a good situation for someone with natural hermit tendencies. Saves on gas and travel expenses. Some folks go stir-crazy though.

One problem if the job has flexible hours, is that one must fight the tendency to keep thinking there is more work to do.
