I emailed Crossbreed to see about getting a super tuck for a Walther P22 for my wife. They don't make one and are slammed at the moment so I guess I will try my hand at making one. Got the wife all measured up and got the materials on order. Here is the template I came up with last night. The stuff should be in in a few days.

She picked a dark chocolate leather with blood red Kydex. Should look cool. Wish me luck.....

Finished. Lessons learned,

1. Kydex was to thick

2. Space bags are awesome

3. The front sight on the P22 sucks

Works great. I have enough stuff to make it again. I need a heat gun.

Very nice! What did you use to get such a nice cut on the leather? And if you don't mind my asking, about how much did the supplies set you back?

Believe it or not I used regular paper scissors. It sucked really bad because they would only cut about a 1/4" at a time. I am going to get some tools to do this as I have 3 other guns I would like to have holsters for.

The total cost was about $25 and there is enough leather to make one more and enough Kydex to make 4.

This one was the learning experience, I am going to build a vacuum table and get some leather tools now that I know how easy it is to do.

Can't believe you got such nice cuts with regular scissors. I'm super impressed. I'm also really surprised at how inexpensive it all was. Perhaps I will give it a shot at some point...

Now if I can just get her to the class and get her permit in the works she will be all set. Hard to do with 3 little ones and me having to work 7 days a week.
