Sorry, not going to read it. I don't have any duct-tape handy.

Many police chief's are.

Including one I could name but won't. Let's just say he knows his way around the Big Easy.

Andrew James Rolle, 20, was arrested and charged with first-degree and attempted murder. Police believe he was trying to kill someone else in a dispute over a stolen gun.

Uhh.... huh.....

He also said his department has purchased 30 AR-15s -- a move he said he would rather not have had to make -- to combat assault weapons on the streets.

You are sooo anti that you don't want to even give your own officers the appropriate firepower!?!?

''This has nothing to do with the Second Amendment. There is freedom of the press -- but we have libel laws,'' Timoney said. ``You can craft a bill that still gives people the right to bear arms.''

Umm sir, your argument is void. Libel is a civil matter, as where you are using in an argument for criminal legislation.

When was the last time someone went to prison for libel? NEVER!

Your ban would send people to jail for ownership!

BINGO!

People forget his connection to the most corrupt police force in the nation. :D

In addition to Walker, three Miami-Dade officers have been shot -- one of them killed -- by assault weapons in the past year. ''Our police are outgunned and outmanned,'' Sarnoff said, with Miami Police Chief John Timoney and his command staff looking on. 'This is [criminals'] weapon of choice.''

I sometimes feel guilty that I am better armed than our military or police.

<O:p</O:p

I know that it is not the soldiers or Officer's Fault. Some Police Departments learned a lesson from the Hollywood BOA shootout and made changes.

Put one of these in each patrol car. You may still be outmanned; but you won’t be outgunned. :D

I vote to throw the chief out of his office for bringing up the issue.

According to his statement 80% of homicides in Miami are caused by guns.:D

OK, so after all guns are banned, then 80% of homicides will be caused by knifes. So let's ban knives.

And then 80% of all homicides will be caused by baseball bats. So let's ban baseball bats.

And then 80% of all homicides will be caused by sticks and stones. So let's ban sticks and stones.

etc....etc....etc....

let's ban sticks and stones.

if they decide to do this then they are responsible for the removal of these items. I ain't picking up all the sticks and rocks laying around here.

If they ban Sticks and Stones then they will ban words.

Already done. Try using the word "n*gger" in school and see what happens, regardless of the context.
