Police trade-in G17 Gen2 with major issues!

Today I purchased a Police trade in g17. The price was too good to pass up and I bought the pistol sight unseen. It came to me direct from the police supply house and was filthy inside and out. Upon getting it home I decided against giving it a through cleaning, and just lightly lubed it and proceeded to fire 200 rounds. That is when I noticed a huge problem. In no time at all, the dirty, nasty, old pistol managed to empty not only all the mags, but also all the boxes of 9mm ammo I brought.

It seems the only solution to my problem is more ammo and mags. I've remedied the mag situation with an online order, and the ammo problem should be solved in the morning.

A few more pics this morning. I really wished I snapped a few pics during the cleanup.

So what shop did you find this piece of junk? I have been hunting a shop in TN that I could buy a 17 or 22 direct from and not have to pay shipping and transfer fees.

Sounds defective to me. I thought all Glocks exploded at least once every range session. Oh wait, yours is a G17 it is only the 40's, 45's and 10mm's that explode.

Dolomite

don't forget the extremely powerful .380 known to kaboom

I have experience with these things, I'd happily take it off your hands for only a little less than you paid for it. Sorry you had the problem with your Glock, but I have to tell you that all my Glocks have the same defect.
