Be sure and clear this idea with your Optometrist first...take your gun when you have your vision tested and have your prescription tuned for shooting. You can get an inexpensive pair of prescription safety glasses just for shooting

Not that big a deal.

I disagree with this completely. I have had to wear glasses since I was 9. I think it is a big deal and it sucks. I'm envious of people who can get by without corrective lenses.

You have about three years on me John yet I'm in a similar predicament. My close up vision is alright by my distant vision is going, especially in my dominant (left) eye. I too am considering Laser, Glasses and/or Contacts. Will probably be going to the optometrist soon.

Glasses since age 9 for me as well. My son is even worse. He inherited his mother's poor eyesight.

He has problems using a scope for some reason. Claims he can't see anything but his own reflection when looking through a scope. I'm really not sure why.. His glasses are a lot higher of a prescription than mine. Maybe that has something to do with it.

That's why they make the 2 4 and 6 inch barrels for the revolvers.
