My wife is going to get her permit!

We went to the range today. Took Glocks big and small, Sig, Baby Eagle,

1911's and the Walther P22. It was really too cold to be fooling around

at the range, but I was pleasantly surprized when she picked up each one

and fired away.

Last night she picked up each one and decided she liked the way the Glock

30 felt over everything else, so I figured I would be buying another 30 soon.

We get out to the range and she fires it and doesn't care for the kick but

does fairly well on target. Next, Sig 226. She picks it up and fits like a glove

and several bullseyes, everything else close enough to do the job. She says

she likes that one. I had to agree.

It was fun just watching her and how she made her mind up. All the technical

BS in the world went out the window with a couple shots. I could tell, right

away, she was enjoying shooting it. Made it all worthwhile:D

I doubt if she would ever show up around here, but I'll bet her name would be

"Katie's Sig".

My wife wanted to get her permit and she always wanted my Taurus 85ul so I bought a S&W 442 ( cause you gotta have a snub nose ), and let her have the 85. I took her to the range let her shoot it first and 5 shots later she said it kicked to hard, so she shot my Glock 19 and really liked it. Before we left Guns and Leather she looked at the Glocks and liked the 26 so I rented her one to she if she liked before I bought one.

I was able to convince my ex-wife to get her permit. Thankfully we get along just fine 'cause she's a good shot.

Just from observations at the range. A woman will always fool you. I liked it this time especially

because it was my wife.

Well, the AR family was already an ammo slingin' bunch. Good thing you have a progressive

My wife got her permit about twelve years ago. She has carried a Kahr or XD since that time, but it's main use has been to threaten me, anytime I mention getting another hound dog.

My wife got her permit almost a year ago. But she never carried because her XD was too thick. I bought her a Sig P232 this weekend so hopefully that will be the cure.
