Cowboy Shooting For Glock-n-Load and others

Seems like a lot of people are looking at shooting Cowboy and the Single Action Shooting Society. It is the most family friendly sport that I have ever seen. I shoot with two grandsons and now my youngest grandaughter. While some are concerned with shaving off that 1/1000th of a second in their scores, most people do it to look good and have fun. Visit one of the matches BEFORE you go out and buy guns. It will save you money in the long run. Every match that I have attended has had people who will lend you guns, ammo and leather to let you see if you like it. Don't like the pump shotgun? Somebody will loan you a double. Don't know if you want to shoot .45 or .38? Somebody will let you shoot theirs to give you an idea. We stress safety above all, but you will never be talked ugly to when you make a mistake. If you live around Chattanooga here are some clubs to visit. You will learn a lot just reading their forums.
