I recently bought a Beretta 92FS and now need a nice affordable case to protect it in. I would like one that I can store a few exra mags in. I may even like one that could accomadate a smaller hand carry pistol also.

Thanks!

I like smaller sized "just big enough" cases, so that several pistols easily fit in the range bag and stay protected.

Had a couple of 1911's that came in "too big" cases that didn't fit the range bag well, and bought a couple of Plano 1403 single pistol cases from Academy Sports for about $7 apiece.

I just checked, and the Plano 1403 is almost identical-sized to factory beretta 92 cases, and holds a 92 and 4 mags no problemo.

In addition to the cheap price and decent-enough quality for the price, as far as I know most or all Plano cases are made in usa.

It ain't an anvil, skb or pelican case, but is rugged enough to go back and forth to the range and if it breaks it is cheap to replace.

If you want something bigger, Plano makes bigger cases.

If you want something tougher, SKB may be the best quality for the money. I got a giant SKB pistol case to store a bunch of telescope eyepieces for about $100 or $140 at Sportsmans Warehouse that is dang rugged for that kind of money. It would hold lots of pistols.

Thanks all. I was looking at the Beretta site and saw the military cases......cool if you are ex-military or current but would misrepresent for me. I kinda like the plano model 10402. It is foam filled hard case and holds 2 pistols.
