Deals on anything survival related?

I searched through a few pages and didn't see anything like this. If I missed it I apologize and please delete thread.

Has anyone come across any good deals on anything survival related? I figured we might be able to gather a rescource of sales or coupons for a few places locally or online. Coming out of winter there might be a few sales scattered around on seasonal things. Clothes, sleeping bags, things like that. Maybe a coupon or two?

Maybe we should expand this to "free" items. Things people are going to throw out. I've heard tale of people no longer needing bricks or large peices of PVC. I could make a forge outta the bricks and caches outta the PVC..... Stuff like that..... I friend of mine was trying to give away a cast iron stove for a while..... that could have been useful....

Anyway..... let's see if this was a good idea.....

Well, I have been exploiting my Mother-in-law's medicare/insurance whatever, I don't know what it is. She gets a certain amount of free medical stuff once a month for the last year or so. Needless to say, I have a decent [and growing] inventory of first aid and non perishable medical supplies. Bandages, tape, gauze, slings, wraps, ect.

That deal on batteries really is a good deal. I've wanted a Surefire but those batteries' cost scared me...

Thats a pretty sweet hookup on medical supplies! I wonder if I know any old people..........
