R1 Remington Report

Just finished shooting a 4 Day course @ Front Sight with my Remington R1. This gun had already had around 2,000 rounds through it without any trouble. The recent 4 day firing of about 600 rounds was done without any failures of any kind, and no cleaning. In my book it is a fine weapon for those looking for a dependable 1911 at a reasonable price. For that matter, my buddy who went with me shot his Taurus 1911 with the same results.

No bite whatsoever. It has a decent beaver tail. Actually can't think of anything that I would change.
