NEW SIG, she's purdy

Recommended Posts

:D

What did I do after the LC9 sold?

Found a deal on a P238 Nitron.

I haven't seen these under $500. but with the tag marked $429.00 I jumped on it. :) It rang up at $479.00 but the fine folks at G&L honored the tag price. ;)

Can't wait to warm her up!

I thinks you will likes:D

I like my rainbow titanium one Enuff to want another, I've been looking at the one you got and a two tone version, I like both about the same.

And yea you got yerself a mighty good price on that Lil' thing;), it is the $$ that have held me up on getting another. I was only able to manage the first with an excellent trade deal with the fine folks at Hero Gear last year.

I am sure you will enjoy yours as I have mine.:)

I may dress it up with some fancy grips and Glow-On added to the sights. I intend it to be my carry pistol. :)

WOW did it not come with the Sig Night Sights? I was under the impression that they all did. Every one I have looked at has had them??????

god I miss mine. Should have never sold it. It's amazing how accurate they are.

+1 ... we had 2, and gave them both up. if they came in 9, i would be all over them again. the only thing keeping me away is the .380

They're called SIGLITE Night Sights but they look like white dots to me that don't absorb light.

I am pretty sure that is what mine are called but they sure do glow like the blazes in the dark, they are a greenish color, I have them on the P238 and a P226. They seem very bright at night.

I guess there must be different versions of them, I just thought all the 238's had the same ones as mine does. I know I have been highly impressed with the brightness of mine in total darkness.

I dont actually see a huge need for them on the little up close and personal 238 but they are nice to have.

Maybe thats part of the price difference. Mine was tagged $600 and has glowy sights (and rose/choco/whateveritis wood). Mine had a plastic holster too. I guess its a $100 holster, $50 wood grips and $50 glowpaint? :(

Anyway, great gun. If 380 were cheaper I would probably have shot mine to death already, its that much fun. As it is, I work it out now and then and carry it a fair amount.

Ran 200 rounds through it Sat., I like it a lot, very accurate and both of us got better as she warmed up.

Added some "Glow-on" to the sights, much more visible than before. Also got a holsterpro holster off ebay coming and some grips from Custom Grips for Sig P238 (a TN vendor BTW)

May run some more through it tomorrow. I'm very happy with it. Going to be a perfect CCW. ;)
