Hello from Clarksville!

I was drawn to this website because of the survival skills forum and have been hooked ever since. I am prior military, but never stationed here at Ft. Campbell, ironically. While I was in the military I spent some time on a competitive shooting team where I competed with the M-9 and the M-16. By the way, I really prefer the M-16 to the M-4 because of the accuracy at longer distances. I won several competitions including the "Squad Designated Marksman" where we fired from 500 yards with iron sights only.

For a long time after the military I did not own firearms. I was honestly afraid that I would use them inappropriately and am glad that I realized this potential problem instead of ignoring it.

I have been a survivalist and a Libertarian long before they were cool. I am fully committed to protecting my family at all costs and am a firm believer in personal freedoms and liberties. Leave me the hell alone and I'll leave you alone too.

I am interested in learning and sharing the knowledge that I have learned. I am glad to have found this site!
