Surprise

Imagine my surprise when I tried to order a CZ thru CDNN and was told that I would have to have shipped to a FFL dealer and not to me even though they had a copy of my c&r lic on file.

I was told it doesnt make any difference to them that it would have to go to a class 1 licensee or come in and pick up. BUT WAIT! I can't do that as I live in Michigan.

What a crock.

hasnt it always been like this?

Several places do that. They are required to know the state laws as well as their Federal laws. California (I don’t know if there are others) requires that all handguns (even C&R) go through an 01FFL. I would guess CDNN and others just don’t want to mess with it.

I think AIM will ship to you.

Um... welcome to the forum? :hiding: Anyhow, it is indeed up to the merchant if they wish to ship to 03FFLs or not.

bkelm18 is right.

That is why I don't do much business with CDNN. Both AIM & SOG are much better to deal with as a 03 FFL. They are more than happy to take our C&R money. :hiding:
