had a full size for awhile, nice gun.

for a carry gun the LDA is a nice idea so you are not walking around locked and cocked. but i think it would hard to beat the EMP. runs like a champ and even for a small gun you will hit where you aim.

yes they are DOA, was looking at the PDA which is a compact 9mm LDA (light double action) i do like the Kimber CDP II and the Springfield EMP but havent found any good deals on them, all 3 brand new run about the same price

The EMP's seem to hold a very good resale value. I have never handled one of the LDA para's. The hawgs are of an interest to me as well, but I have heard mixed reviews on their reliability. I do have an Kimber Crimson Ultra Carry II. I find myself carrying it most of the time. It is very reliable and accurate. EMP is probably tops on my list next if I can find a good trade for one.
