I have the GSG 1911-22 and when I was looking at the new Sig Sauer 1911-22 other than the marking the guns look identical. I am guessing that GSG is making them for Sig. Any ideas?

Poop on Sig. I'm never going to buy a new gun from them, let alone a .22. Their .22 conversions and the Sig Mosquito are overpriced disasters.

I can understand the "overpriced" comment but why is the Mosquito a "disaster"?

I do not own one, the only Sig I own is a P229 Equinox, but I do like the feel of the Mosquito.

For a .22 I really love my BuckMark, a very sweet pistol.

As far as the GSG I think it has a good fit and feel just like the .45 1911's. The trigger on the gun is very smooth for a $350 gun. The one I got has the Flaux suppressor and tactical rail. I let a friend borrow it and him and some buddies took it out and shot it and they liked it a lot. He has the Sig Mosquito and it works great for him. The only complaint was the trigger pull, but he was mainly a rifle guy. I personally own a Sig P239 and 1911 and both guns are great. I have the Buckmark with a Burris sight and it is sweet.

I own a mosquito and I love the feel of the gun, but mine didn't function well out of the box. The only thing it would function well with were the cci minimags. I polished the feedramps and it does better now with the federal bulks. I also use the smaller spring that came with the gun.
