Looking for J C Higgins 4x scope for .22 LR Model 28

The dove tail on the Model 28 is smaller than the standard dove tail.

Standard is .375". Model 28 is .350".

This rifle was made in 1951 only for Sears & Roebuck.

If someone knows where to find one, please let me know.

Midsouth and Brownells I believe sell adapters from that small dovetail. I have one of those guns too. I modified some std dovetail scope mounts and they work great.
